Cigars in Mexico since the new law in 2023?

F them.

They should ban illegal fentynal and all the other crazy synthetic drugs the cartel runs up here....let me know how that works out.

There are so many other things they need to fix with their colossal institutional problems. The Marlboro man is not the devil.

All of these third world countries that border second and first world countries need to do a self check up in the mirror.

Geese Hydro, i was just going to say that, more so with the drug shit, gang warfare and being able to dig you way out of jail. But thankfully, our sticks come from the DR and Honduras and can float right on by, so screw them.

If you ever go to Mexico and travel outside of the tourist bubbles that they maintain its an eye opener. We went on a cruise years ago and went to a port that was completely fabricated from nothing, just for cruise ships. We booked an excursion to a beach outside of that area. When we got there there it was beautiful but on each end of the beach outside of that area the beach was littered with tires and every other kind of trash item you could possibly imagine.

Exactly how many illicit drugs come out of Mexico. They should force enforcement on things that are actually a problem. But they can't so they're gonna swing at low hanging fruit and wave their big flag like they solved the problem just like we do here in the US.

I just seriously started smoking cigars in the last year and even I can tell the difference between cigars and cigarettes and I'm pot and everything else so you probably can't say here and everything other horrible that comes out of Mexico . Big loss for Mexico.

They've got a tourist trade to protect. Can't imagine the logic behind alienating perhaps a small, but reasonably flush group of folks. There are other places that I can gamble and hit the beach....and enjoy a cigar.
 
Was there (Puerto Vallarta) beginning of the month. The only thing I noticed is funny warning labels on every box and no smoking in the resort, but a lot of resorts have gone that way or have designated areas. We spent a little extra for the penthouse and I smoked 20ish cigars on our two top-floor balconies. The private pool was a bonus but it was worth it just to be able to smoke with nobody bitching. I saw one other guy enjoying a cigar on his first floor balcony but it was late. Then there’s England where eventually no one will be able to smoke and all those historic shops will be forced out. Absolute madness. RMCF is another example - smoke all the weed you want but for heaven’s sake don’t sell both alcohol AND cigars at the same festival…

There was plenty of alcohol and cigars at the RMCF.
 
Sorry to be such a downer but this is happening all over the world. Smoking and especially cigar smoking in public is endangered. I live in North Dakota where it gets -20f for a month or two and there is no indoor smoking options apart from your private residence should you be fortunate enough to live in a single family home. There is one single private lounge a four hour drive from me that opened just a couple years ago and the law says you can only smoke cigars and pipe tobacco bought from their humidor! Gee, thanks lawmakers 🤬
