Not really much of a story there. Cigar Aficionadocan yell all they want but it won't have any effect on US policy towards Cuba.
The embargo will not end anytime in the near future, you can count on that.![]()

Can I ask why you think this? I can buy junk straight from China and the gov has no problem. It seems like the old guard of anti communism changed a long time ago. Why still penalize them.

There are a large number of voters and politicians in this country that are ex-patriot Cubans.

As soon as China is a small island off of the coast of the USA hosting nukes from a hostile power that could decimate our country, you've got a good point.
You never know. CA made it the theme of their magazine and they brought up a lot of interesting points. The good thing is that it brings the question to the forefront of the population at large. That CNN report also helps to do the same thing. When it is in front of people it is more likely to not be swept under the rug and not thought about. Then I think the hypocrisies of the policy can sway the majority to want to do something about it.I thought we weren't supposed to speak about politics :whistling:
As long as Cuban expatriots live and vote in the US the embargo will continue. The Cuban PAC with its money and influence is hard to ignore, not to mention the Cuban-American Senators and Congressmen.
