Coming to NYC...

Rob...you're not kidding. That was a mistake! Looks like we'll have to meet back up there and get the shot! Tomorrow night (Saturday)????

I won't be able to get the pictures posted until next Wednesday morning. Bear with me guys!

You guys are right about Falco! BTW, I smoke one of the custom made cigars that the torcedor rolled for me--not bad! Slightly loose on the draw but full of flavor. Hints caramel sweetness with a spicy finish the first half. The last half had the finish change to an espresso flavor. Not bad for 4 bucks. I am keeping the other one plus the custom sungrown perfecto (short story size) in my humi for several weeks before lighting.

Joe

Yep, it sure was a hell of a HERF! Great time. Thanks Elliot, Chris, Joe, Anthony, and of course Rob for the huge genorosity! I appreciate the great sticks, hugely!! Most of them I haven't every tried, so it will be a EXCELLENT learning experience! It was definetly nice seeing everyone again. Nice little place... clearly the place to hit up if in the area. Too bad I was in my smoking clothes, otherwise I would have asked that Russian chick for her number... maybe she was looking for a green card. Who knows? :p  :D

Also, it was great meeting you Chris and Vincent. You have got to make more excuses to hit up the East coast! :whistling:
Anyway, if you feel like another Herf before skipping town.. let me know!

Steve

Steve tries to pick up a new stick on the way to the HERF! House-rolled Russian version with a light wrapper.

Steve lost the bet so he had to smoke all night through his nose. By the third stick he was getting a little pale...

HERFing in the BIG APPLE!

l-r: Rob, Chris, Anthony, Steve, Joe with Vincent taking the picture and Falco hiding behind Steve. Elliot had to split and couldn't be in the photo.

Yous Noo Yahk guys are fantastic hosts! Good to meet you all...thanks!

Yes I have officialy joined and will be on the prowl for local HERFS and othe various and sundry meets! I was truly honored to be so luxuriously welcomed into the fold with great cigars (next time I will be prepared for swappage), excellent hostesses (Falco was fine and workin'it), and even better BOTL. So from here my journey will begin, and I will try to keep it well documented but not overly verbose. I encourage and invite all to contact me anytime for fun and smoke! See ya soon, thanks guys!

P.S. Seadub is on the way out of town and just rang me up to tell me he is already planning his return trip! He will be hard pressed to top this trip with Yankee tix behind home plate, my 1st HERF and dinner last night at Bolo he has set the bar high. No wonder I have kept him around the last 23years or so...lol If only there were a female version of him that looked like the Russian or Falco and I would have my future ex-wife all lined up.

:D

What a riot! Great pictures, Chris! An entertaining thread about a fantastic night. Thanks for letting us in on the fun.

Steve, you are such a daaaaaawg! No shame, my man. But I love ya for it. ;)

Wilkey

Looks like everyone had a great time.

Welcome aboard Seavita. Did you know your name is Vitasea backwards? :0

LOL...I thought the same yesterday.

Welcome to the board Vincent. Looks like you all had a great time in NY.

Vince welcome aboard, by the way that is a great monicker you picked ;) :whistling: Have any farmed rolled cigars you want to trade for?

As a matter of fact I was out on my rowboat yesterday in flushing bay when suddenly I got a hangnail and the next thing I kneow I was in Port of Havanna where Castro helped my tie up. He took me to his private gardens when....well then....ooops I seemed to have been possesed by some mysterious alter ego...lol

BTW I must express that "dub" has nothing to do with my sick sense of humor. Although spurned on by some of the NY Herfers (whose names shall remain anonomous to protect the innocent) I take full responsibility.

P.S. Anyone got a fiver of isom's as I have just been blessed with an entire bundle of the new Dutch Master platinum deluxe especiales z series?
