Converted My Otter Box To Viper Beads

I took the round puck thingy that comes with the Otter box today and separated the back off, then removed the foam and filled it with 65% beads. With a little epoxy and marking points to be sure I had the back in the same orientation, I just epoxied the back on and now instead of floral foam, my Otter box stays stable with Viper beads!

did the same thing myself.... works great, took about 5 mins..

Understood, but I already had the "puck" type thing that came with the Otterbox, and the extra beads. So with 10 minutes work and 15 minutes drying time for the epoxy, I had the same thing, and it cost me nothing. Not the I'd mind spending the $15 plus shipping, but why if I had everything I needed to do the same thing?

Dude, I'm telloin' ya, I've been reading so much and looking at so many pics that I think I'm more confused than when I first PM'd you! There's a LOT of great stuff on that site. I'd like to do one with solid legs, but the banquet table legs for my office/warehouse are a better idea just for convenience in storing it from week to week, might be a couple in the plans! I'll be sure to keep in touch and let you know where I'm going with this, it's gonna be a fun project.

I did the same thing with the credo in my desktop. Put some screen in it so the beads wouldn't fall through the slits and snapped it back together. Works great.

OMG, it was so easy, I just took a very small flat screwdriver and tapped the back all the way around to get it loose, made a reference mark so I could line it back up and did the switch. Epoxy did the rest.
