With the always anticipated Cigar Aficionado Cigar of the Year announcement for 2025 less than a month away, I am sponsoring a contest to see if anyone can predict the top 5 cigars on this year's list.
The Rules:
1) Post your prediction below in the comments for the top 5 cigars of the year on this year's Cigar Aficionado list, in order from 1st to 5th.
2) One point will be given for every brand correctly guessed which appears in the top 5.
3) One extra point will be given for every blend/vitola combination correctly guessed which appears in the top 5 (must get both the blend & vitola correct).
4) Double points will be awarded to any points received above, for any guesses on the correct place on the list.
5) A maximum of 20 points, if you correctly guessed all 5 brands, blends and vitolas in the correct order.
6) Deadline: All entries must be received on or before 12/1/2025.
7) One entry with 5 guesses per person.
8) Must have a shipping address in the USA to receive the prize.
9) In the event of a tie, some form of tiebreaker will be determined at a later date (or the prize cigars may have to be cut in half, Solomon style).
The Prize:
The winner, who gets the most points, from the most accurate prediction, will receive:
A Holiday Cigar Sampler, including:
1 Arturo Fuente - Don Carlos - No. 3
1 Dunbarton - Sin Compromiso - No. 4
1 Viaje - Skull & Bones - Fat Man
1 Habanos - Hoyo de Monterrey - Epicure No. 2
1 My Father - The Judge - Grand Robusto
Bonus:
If the winner wins with 12 or more points, you will also receive:
1 Habanos - Cohiba - Siglo VI
