I would just like to say while it might have had some bugs, I had some great conversations with some brothers and would like to see it come back.

So the messenger puts new strain on the server, is this something that can be fixed with parts or would you have to replace the entire server? What kind of costs are we looking at?
Personally, I thought the messenger greatly enhanced my user interaction with this website, so much that I would happily contribute sticks/cash to help fund-raise for the necessary upgrade. I'd like to hear from other BOTLs if they feel the same.
Could you give us a sense in terms of what we'd be looking at to make it work?
