Sarge,

Are you talking about Todai? That's a Japanese buffet chain, they always have tons of boiled crawfish.

Love me some mudbugs... want to know how much 200 GRAMS costs over here?

I thought the shocker was 3 fingers?

Tomorrow, my wife and I are having a mini-boil (8 lbs). I can't wait to get em, got a good price for Lousiana crawfish at $3 a lb (best places to look are local seafood or ethnic stores). The prices will go down as the season goes on with imports from China lowering the price. IMHO Chinese crawfish don't taste as good as Lousiana crawfish, but thats just me. I add onions, lemon, corn, potatoes, and sausage to my boils and try to make the boil spicey as hell. I usually aim to have everyone's nose running by the time they are done. My parents are masters at the art of the crawfish boil, theirs tastes so good it will make you fight grandma.

Boils are great family affairs, I always had good memories from boils as I have grown up, good times...

Can I come over? I'll bring the beer and cigars!

Something I always wanted to try but crawfish and NJ aren't perfect together.

Now you guys have me jonesin for my boat and a little seafood fest. Come on spring!

Just read the newspaper and saw an add for a local resturant. They have frog legs all you can eat tonight...I'm all over it.

Hmmm...Where's Nisse62? If I recall correctly, the Swedes eat the most crawdads (kräfta) on a per person average. They eat so much of it that the local population are nearly exticnt. Louisiana's largest export of crayfish is to Sweden. There's also a yearly crawfish festival in Sweden. Most places you go have crayfish tail salads. Nothing better in the summer than to sit at an outdoor cafe eating a crawfish salad watching the local talent walk by.

I love the stuff. Can't get enough of them, but unfortunately, here in Tucson, not too many places have them. Whenever I'm in Houston, I go to Floyd's Cajun Kitchen and put away at least 2 pounds every sitting. Love the spices and the tasty juices from the heads.
