Emodx, I hear you concerning Tampa...Whooyah! Anyways, I lived in the "area" for ten years. The Floridian got Tampa Bay's Best Cuban Sandwich award for years; they are in the St. Pete/Treasure Island area. I was there last Feb. and they're still there and better than ever! In Tampa, Hillsborough Community College cafeteria up by the Tampa stadium has a killer sandwich. Both places have the awsome black bean soup over yellow rice. Lastly, for authentic Cuban food, try La Terrasita (sp?) in Tampa is authentic and awsome. Best wishes, and keep it covered! Bill
