Dark and oily cigar recommendation?

I've always associated oily with fresh-rolled, young smokes. Something I've noted in nearly all the oily sticks I recall smoking is a bit of wildness, not a bad wildness, but certainly not mature.

But I'm no expert. Some people say cucumbers taste better pickled.  :D

Your may find some of those tats are not as oily. Variations may occur - unless they are being 'oiled'. Pm Pete about them.
Is Pete on here?

Sometimes. His username is "tatuaje".

On my last journey into Canada, I had the opportunity to smoke a Montecristo Petit Edmundo. It had a very nice dark wrapper that was oily to the touch and on the lips. The flavor was bold, with just a touch of chocolate undertone.

That is probably not going to do you a lot of good sitting here in the USA, but if you escape to somewhere that you can buy and smoke a good Cuban cigar, that is one I'd recommend trying.
