Picked one of these up on Friday at my B&M. Search apparently is not my friend on this one, I can't find anything. I gather its a fairly rare stick, anyone ever smoke one?

Edit for pic:

Small world, I was just about to post to inquire as to whether anyone smoked one yet

Eric (from Jack Schwartz) and I were talking about them a few days ago. I don't recall the excat numbers, but they are definitely limited. I ould like to hear some thoughts on these even though they are still young. As odd as it sounds, and contrary to what the common perception is about most Davidoff cigars, a good number of them, especially the limited editions, really benefit with some years under their belt.

Davidoff has never done much for me so I rarely smoke one, but I had a Millenium Blend Toro at the local shop recently that was pretty tasty.

Was just at the Barcly Rex store 42 nd St and didn't see these. Guess a walk over to the Davidoff store is in order! Thanks for the heads up!

If I recall, these are a mid-level smoke (not the x000 line and not the Millenium).

I've had the perfecto...not bad, but there ae a few others I like more.

Holding out on me are you?

Ah, but the old ones kick ass, no?

I've got two of the colorado claros in, looking forward to trying them, I think they are supposed to be somewhat rare.

Nah...it may have been the regular perfecto, my mistake.

Hey Tony, if you make the trip over see if they have any of the Madison Avenue smokes left, those are darn tasty. They're only available at the Madison Ave store.

The Claros are only available at Madison Ave? or the 'perfecto'?

There is a Madison Ave Blend, it has a Madison Ave label on it, very good smokes, they didn't have that many left the last time I was in NY, but they were damn tasty.

Oh...I missed that part.

Let me know if you guys need some! ;)

I need some! How many do you have to spare? :)

Same here. I don't know what the draw is. I would gladly take my money back and buy four times as many good sticks with the money I paid for the four I bought, of which two are still around. Maybe five or six years on them will make them better.

I ended up smoking the Colorado Claro and really enjoyed it. It wasn't the right environment to do a full review but it was very similar to a millenium blend. I smoke somewhere in the neighborhood of one Millenium PC a week and maybe it was just because the Colorado Claro was something new, but I really found it to have some richer flavors.

I really love Davidoff's and smoked my first Zino Platinum last week. That cigar had some tough reviews from what I've read on here but for me it was fantastic. I think you just have to be a fan of that recognizable and consistent Davidoff taste and flawless construction. I'll always have a few in my humi.
