I was living in Jersey and used to watch the original Bandstand in the start of the 60's on WFIL channel 6 out of Philly. Tried to learn the dance moves by following along in front of the TV. It was ugly at times but fun. You'll be missed Mr. Clark.

My parents' religion didn't allow dancing. My siblings and I used to sneak episodes of American Bandstand if it came on while they were out, to try to learn the dance moves all our friends talked about. :laugh:
So thanks to Mr. Clark, I didn't look like a total ass on the dance floor when I hit drinking age!
