I was raised in the canebrake by an ol' mama lion
My girlfriend recently played Guitar Hero III at a friend's house and she expressed to me that she would like it for Christmas. Well, after seeing Rock Band (Which comes with a guitar, drums, and mic) she decided she might like that too. Since both are video games, and I am a nerd, I picked up both.
Anyways, I gave them to her early (To be honest, I couldn't find the boxes, they are huge) and we played with them on Friday night. I've been playing that Rock Band all weekend while she's been wrapping gifts and what not. On Sunday, I told her to grab her guitar (from the Guitar Hero III) and I would use the Rock Band guitar, and we could play for awhile before I went home. Her guitar keeps scrolling to the bottom of the screen. The "strum" trigger is broken. A few minutes later, the Rock Band guitar stopped work, with the strum trigger as well.
The Rock Band company is two-day fed-ex-ing me a replacement, but I've not heard from the Guitar Hero company yet. I called my gamestop, which is who I bought it from, and they said they will exchange it, as soon as they get some more in.
Just warning you parents, these guitars (and other things from what I am reading) aren't holding up very well. Be Ready!
