Well finally got to sample the beer that was sent by a scallywag in the newbie wars. I have to say thank you, what a treat.

Had this with a tomato pie with garlic and anchovies, what an awesome pairing.A hoppy ale with a citrus hint and a very high alcohol content.

Thanks again for being so kind as to share this great treat!

It sure is a nice hop rocket...but for 10 bucks a bottle, it should be!

Now that you enjoyed that one, make sure you try the 60 & 90 minute offerings too Anthony....and if you see either of those two on tap, definitely try them...WoW!

DFH 60 is my benchmark for a session-able IPA.

A sixer on a warm Saturday afternoon is definitely bliss.

The 120 is such a fantastic brew. I'm lucky enough that the Dogfish brewpub is 5 minutes from my beach house so I'm able to get some every summer. So delicious fresh out of the tap!

Yes I survived the alcohol content. I will try the others.

Cool! I've only been able to get my hands on 90 min IPA. I'm waiting for my local shop to get in the 120.

What's a tomato pie?

The DFH site doesn't show CA as a distribution state for the 120 (AZ is the closest distribution to you). Might have to go outside the box to get some of this...

The 60 and 90 don't do much for me, while the 75 I could drink regularly. Haven't tried the 120 yet.

The DFH 120 is a personal favorite of mine as well. Fantastic ale. Great fresh and it ages oh so well...like a good cigar. I always stock up when it gets released in the NYC area.

Honestly, I've always experienced this beer as being too malty for an IPA. They have to to get the ABV up. It's good, no doubt, but the ones I've had had tasted more like a crazy cider mead than an IPA. I also have a problem with Dogfish and their distribution problems that may taint my experience...

No wonder move out of Bitterville and your prospects may broaden!

I see what you did there, late to post. My thanks :whistling:

Finally tried this last week and really enjoyed it. WWS is still my favorite from DFH, but this time of the year I'm not so sure I wouldn't reach for the 120 first.
