Thought I knew/had just about every FZ recording but I never heard that one.

CDB

Call Up Trudy on the telephone

Uneasy Rider (I was takin a trip out to LA, toolin along in my Chevrolet,
Tokin on a number (Fuente XX of course), and diggin on the radio....

Santana: Abraxas, 3rd album and Borboletta * (1974).

I'll second the Return to Forever

The primer for all reggae- The Harder They Come soundtrack

* Although it isn't a concept album in the conventional sense, BORBOLETTA has the aesthetic and thematic continuity of one. The lyrical material deals with pop-sheened themes of spiritual and personal expansion, while the album's gorgeous jazz-spirited instrumentals make for more cerebral and challenging listening. The band seals a Brazilian fusion connection with the appearance of vocalist Flora Purim and rhythmist extraordinaire Airto Moreira, while soulman Leon Patillo and keyboardist Tom Coster make their first major appearances in the core Santana lineup. "Spring Manifestations" opens the album like a meditation in the jungle, with Flora and Airto conjuring up an atmospheric wilderness of sound effects. Elsewhere, the distinct soft groove of the '70s tempers the band's harder crunch of the '60s as the percussion section tames its spikes and the gentle strains of Fender-Rhodes piano dance alongside the sinewy grit of Hammond organ. "One With the Sun" features an urgent-sounding Patillo making declarations of solar harmony at the mic and Carlos shredding through a series of breathtaking guitar solos. His playing shows signs of blooming into greater subtlety and harmonic sophistication on cuts like "Flor de Canela" and "Promise of a Fisherman" with lightning-fast modal-rock runs.

You have to have tunes on a road trip, especially when you are trapped in a cage. If I am getting tired, Heavy Metal:
Metallica - Damage, Inc.
Slipknot - Sick
Slipknot - Duality

One of my favorite albums:
Crystal Method - Vegas

But I usually end up speeding.

- C

Get out of denver - Bob Seger. Actually, that's the worst driving song ever. I keep getting speeding tickets when it's on.

Which one?

Got to be Led Zepplin, Van Halen, U2, Aerosmith, Collective Soul, AC/DC to name a few...lol Song's to get the blood pumping and a driving beat.

I am mostly into the really classic sounds of Brittney Spears, Backdoor (I mean street) boys, and n-sync. But, "for my money, it doesn't get any better than when Michael Bolton sings, 'When a Man Loves a Woman'!"

Just kidding.

Anything country, especially Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, and if the mood strikes me, some of the more classic country (can't go wrong with Cash!)

Counting Crows
DMB
Zepplin
Hendrix

Got to quit wasting time at work with these forums! I gotta run, I'm late for my meeting with "the Bobs!"
