Ever have that feeling...

I just had a thought, Swissy. If he was so interested in your windows and decided to return, what if he found a few spent shell casings there on the window sills?

Actually, I thought about taping my last targets I used for target practice to the window... you know they ones shaped like a man? two perfect holes, dead center on the chest- third right between the eyes. Think they'd make a nice window shade?

And Mark... the .40 is great for two legged varmits, but you're right. For the big furry 4 legged variety I use these...

I've done the 1911 drill in our new house just once so far. It turned out to be cat mischief but it was only a few days after having our own suspicious encounter.

Coming home from errands in town, the wife and I made the last turn onto our road. Near the dead end of our road, where our driveway is, we saw a fellow walking. When we passed him to enter our drive, he rather abruptly turned around and walked all the way back out. I wish now that I'd thought to hang back and see what he was really up to.

Make it 12 gauge shell casings... those are hard to miss seeing.

No arguement here! I would use mine as well, but they (yes they) are in the long rifle safe downstairs, and all sleeping areas are upstairs. I have a smaller, much faster to open (reads fingerprints) safe in the bedroom closet that holds 2 pistols, rather nicely.
