Ever wreck a car?

The bird distracted him my ass. If he hadn't been on his cell phone... Not a day goes by here, where I live, that some idiot on a cell phone does something stupid in close proximity to me. It should be against the law.

Doc.

The least he could've done is drive the damn thing into the salt marsh at 260 mph. Classic example of too much money, not enough brains.

Saw that earlier on FB---man, I just can't believe some idiot would think they could actually control a beast like that while talking on their cellphone. It's a freaking supercar, not a damn Honda Accord.

If I were fortunate to be able to drive one, I'd be paying attention to A) the road, and B) the experience of driving something that costs over a million dollars.

What's that you say? Speed test? Hey, I'll take any excuse to toss in a link to a Top Gear clip!

Giggity... I love Top Gear, and I love the fact that they had James do the speed test

Awesome clip Wolfie!! If I owned a Veyron, the only salt it would ever see would be the Salt Flats in Wendover, Nevada.

Could and Should are distinct for a reason. I'm guessing this guy had no business behind a machine such as a Veyron. He's lucky it only cost him the car. Put the Gary David phone down for cryin' out loud.

....nailed it, Doc. My daily commute is about ~60 miles round trip. The stories I could tell....seeing someone in bumper to bumper traffic with a freaking book on the steering wheel is only one of them....

I seem to have some sort of peverse magnitism for getting rear ended. In about fifteen years of commuting, I've been sitting stopped and plowed into about five times; the last one about two weeks ago. The worst was the first one. I was sitting at a stop light waiting for the light and got hit by four guys in a K car doing almost fifty miles an hour. Hit me so hard that it pushed me into the car in front of me, them into the car in front of them, and them into the car in front of them. After that brutal impact all four doors of my VW Rabbit opened and I walked out. I've owned german cars ever since.....

Let's be careful out there, guys......B.B.S.

I agree 4cbln3. I also would have splattered that bird all over the road.

Unless the bird was an Albatross or Bald Eagle it wouldn't do much to your car. Now he gets to drive around a 1984 Dodge Colt with a blown head gasket and rusted out fenders since he won't be able to get insurance anymore. :D
