Picked up 5 of these last weekend and finally got around to lighting one yesterday. What a pleasant surprise!! :)

I like Hoyo's in general and Excalibur's in particular, but this was a totally different smoke from the other lines. I know folks are gonna find this hard to believe, but in terms of bouquet and flavor profile, the closest thing I've had to this relatively inexpensive smoke is an EDS. :0

I should clarify that I only mean that in terms of complexity and uniqueness, not that this is an equivalent smoke to that jewel of tobacco craftsmanship. Spicy, herbal, sweet (in a good way), bitter coffee, all were present. Nice construction, fair burn (touched it up once).

Went back today and bought a box and, to my surprise, there are 40 to the box at a price of $117 locally. The shop owner did wish me a Merry Christmas, so maybe this was his way of being nice to a regular customer. Haven't checked the price on line, but my opinion is that these are the best $3 smokes I've had in a long while.

Rating: 88-90

Yeah, we got those in my store about 2 months ago. I was surprised at how different it was from my beloved 1066's, but pleasantly surprised.
