Well, I had the honor of winning a cigar that La Gloria Cubana is experimenting with. I didnt mess around and torched that bad boy up in front of Ernesto. It hadnt been in my hands for a minute before it meet the cutter and flame. All I can say is this cigar has some serious potential. It was a very very very young cigar like 2 weeks old and I would love to see what its like after a few months of resting. But alas, that wasnt the case. But it was well worth torching it in front of the man and giving my feedback to him as he sat there chatting with us.

You could tell it was a La Gloria cigar without a doubt. It had a hint of the characteristics of the Reserva Figurado Felicia. Everyone said that smelled it, thats a nice smelling cigar. It smoked very cool in the mouth and never did burn hot for me. Maybe ya can get OpusXKC to chime in on this one since he had a few puffs off it throughout the burning of it. But right now, I could see it as a morning smoke every day it was that good. It was a Medium strength cigar. Yes, this even came from the man himself. He gave a little history behind the cigar but I dont think I should say what I know thats in it. So oh well on that front. The construction was beautiful. I was very pleased with the experimental cigar. :)

Do you have any more info you could share without Ernesto having to kill you for releasing? Do you know what it will be called or when it will be released? I wouldn't mind finding one to try. Thanks for teasing us Loren!

Its a work in progress is all I know. Just a blend he has been working on. I already told him I would buy them as is and would love to get more. :D

Now that's great to hear. I love the Felicias! Thanks for sharing, Peat.

La Gloria has been making some great cigars for a long time. IMO their Maduros are some of the finest on the market! I think that would be great to see a new line come out from them.
