The 12 of us listed in the first post are in and signed up!

If no one here on CP speaks up by 7pm tonight about the "Daniel Guest" team that signed up, I will delete the team.

And we are off!
Congrats on taking the lead to start the season Dawgie! Last year I think you took dead last after week one, so nice turn around!!

Oscar wrecking on the formation lap screwed me…or rather I screwed myself by going with him.

At least I didn’t feel bad when I fell asleep at 11:30 lol.

Ok, here’s my conspiracy theory…last years constructor champion was a complete non-factor in the first three races. So FIA changes the rules, and “POOF”, McLaren magically gets a double podium. It’s very reminiscent of when Dale Jr would go down a lap and then a “phantom” caution would fly to put him back on the lead lap. Coincidence???

Throughout the season teams earn time in the wind tunnel and get upgrade allowances to keep the field competitive.

Ferrari and McLaren both earned upgrade slots, had 3 races worth of data, and a month to make the upgrades.

I don't think the rule changes benefitted one team over another.

Kimi still kicked ass and George openly talks about Miami being a track he doesn't like. Also, George was running the wrong strat for a time, so that may have hurt him more than it looked like it would.

Feels like it's going to be a good year for Merc, McLaren, and Ferrari. But Max was right there on old ass tires and Hadjar is damn good when he doesn't wreck himself.

PS it was a fantastic race. Loved how aggressive everyone was and it felt more raw today than it had for some time now.
