Watching kimi lead basically the whole thing was mildly entertaining. Watching Max retire the car on the first lap sucked. I never understand why they don’t fix whatever it is (if fixable) and send them back out. We know they won’t win but they only need 90% of the laps complete to still classify the finish and not get dnf negative points.

The reality is, beyond lap one, must of these races are just guys follow g each other around the track. It doesn’t really feel like “racing”. Hell even if your overtake another guy, if your out of track limits or whatever other rule they have, you have to give the spot back. Let them race!

The excitement in the latter laps comes down to the anticipation of whose PU is gonna crap out.
