Hmmmmm, could possibly play OSU for all the marbles.....
Four GREAT teams in the final four  but obviously, I'm rooting for Florida!![]()
I went to Georgetown Prep high school and on one of our retreats this long-termed professor discussed for about what it means to be a Hoya. Your question momentarily took me back to that dreadfully boring lecture. I wasn't really paying attention. But by God, if I didn't love that school and if I don't love the Hoyas!I'm going with Georgetown. But what's a Hoya?
I do believe Ohio State will crush all your dreams!!!!!! :sign:
Georgetown was one of UCONN's big rivals back in the day!I always liked John Thompson and while Patrick Ewing was our nemesis, I always enjoyed watching him play!
It's great to see Ewing, Jr. and John Thompson III now 20 years later bringing them back to national power status.
As I mentioned, this is a fantastic final four this year, I'll be happy with whoever wins but I still hope it's Florida.![]()

When was that rivalry? Perhaps I missed that time in history. :whistling:
I don't mean any disrespect to UConn because they have become one heck of a program, but I can't think of any big rivalry that they have or have had. Back in the 80's, SU and Gtown was arguably one of the biggest rivalries in college basketball. Nonetheless, I do agree with you CC; it is great to see Gtown come back to prominence. It was absolutely fantastic to see them come from behind and knock of UNC and hopefully they can keep going!
