Browser experts out there, please help me with this issue.

When I click to watch a video in Firefox I get the following error...
"additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page"
In the blank video box ... "Click here to download plugin" When I click on
the page I get..."no suitable plugins were found"

I have every media on my computer, Windows Media Player, QuickTime, Real Player etc. For some reason Firefox is not recognizing the media's on my computer.

Thanks for your help.

Brian

What's the extension of the file you are getting?

edit - just because the software for viewing is loaded on the computer...that doesn't mean that Firefox has the registered extensions loaded.

Does it give you an option to "manually install" the plugin? If it does, try that, and I think it will take you where you need to go...

Having a very similar problem as well Brian, can't figure it out. I have to use IE to run video.

Yep, it does but then takes you to all the media files, none of which will install the missing plugin.
