My second review, hope you like it.
The Cigar:ISOM Fonseca Delicias JAN'04, 4 3/4" x 42

Purchased:Sometime in April
From:a very nice CP'er
Smoked:5/1/05
Stored: My humi (approx 70/65) for 5 wks.
Paired with: Kona Gold blend coffee
Construction:Excellent construction, milk chocolate brown color, shallow veining
Wrapper: Light wrapper, very veiney, nice aroma to it b4 lighting, no tears or holes
Lighting up: I cut the cap, had a perfect pre-draw (perfect for me) not too hard, not too soft. Toatsted the foot, and lit her up...
Ash: Salt & pepper color ash, held on for about 2" b4 falliing off.
Smoke and Draw: Nice amount of smoke, and a nice easy, consistant draw
Initial puffs:The first puff had a light cedar/earthy taste, the aroma was pleasant with an average amount of smoke
1/3 marker: Changed to a nutty taste with a licorace undertone, the aroma was still very pleasant and the amount of smoke became greater
2/3 marker: consistant taste from the 1/3 -2/3 mark
Last 3rd: Changed to a toasted/nutty flavor, gobs of smoke
Final verdict: Smoked this one down to a 1/2". It was one of those smokes I wish didn't end. The flavor was very appealing, as this is the 3rd type of ISOM I have ever smoked (I did have a San Christobal Principe a month ago) and Cohiba's Siglo I)it is certainly a differnt smoke. The nutty /cedar/earthy/licorace tastes made this one a winner in my book. Nothing like the Fonseca domestics I have had in the past. This one gave me a hell of a nicotine buzz!!
My Rating: :D :D :D :D.8 out of :D :D :D :D :D

This was the first isom I ever had, a sample at a shop while abroad, and I purchased several of them at the time. I very much enjoyed it, and just finished my last one a couple weeks ago. At some point in the near future I plan on ordering a full box of these. Thanks for the nice review.

Nice review! I've tried some of those, too bad I can't remember anything about them :sign:

Nice review. I really like the rating system. The Fonseca was one of my first ISOMs...I think it was a KDT something-or-other  (little embarrassed that I can't remember the rest of the name). Anyway, I remember it being pretty mild and creamy with hints of toastiness and nuts. Good little cigar.

Keep up the reviews.

I'm happy that someone does a review of the kind of cigars I smoke! That was an awesome review, one that actually will come in handy for me. I'm more prone to buy the less expensive m/m over the super premium h/m...

y'all dig?

We need more of these realistic reviews of the daily smokes!

uh...is it really that late?
hmmmn...I guess I shoulda went to bed right before the "y'all dig?"

yeah... :whistling:
