I own an umbrella cockatoo. I'm told and have proven out that my bird is much happier if I make him work for treats. So, I have hidden his food, encased his food in old plastic pill bottles, and made him climb up a chain. Lately, I bought a plastic "house" with a locking lid that he has to figure out how to unlock - took him a few hours. I've learned that this is entertaining to him because most parrots have a foraging instinct.

Do noobies have a foraging instinct?

Gawd, if its true, it must also be true that noobies will take cigars up to the top of the tree, smoke only a small portion, then throw it to the (canopy) floor. ???

So I'm trying to get a little work done yesterday and the mail people stop for a second time and drop this package on the counter. I slowly open it up half expecting a shower of flour or some other trap. I start to pull this out and I'm thinking "cool, an ashtray, someone trying to be a little more creative with what has been blasting the front of the store for the last week!". NO, it's not an ashtray, it's four cigars in tubes(Macanudo tubes?!?)encased in what apparently is either acrylic or epoxy resin. Now, I think this is awesome. I would leave them in there and put it on the wall in the shop but the cigars are things I've not ever seen(a couple of them). We had a couple of ideas on how to free them but I think we may try to drill through the bottom or hit it with a band saw. Opusxkc managed to cut himself stabbing at it with his knife. Jay, you are crazy! I showed this to my wife last night and she started coming up with all kinds of nasty ways to package a bomb. You are a sick little man and I think I might be able to cure you! Watch your ass...
