I will be in Springfield Mass. next week for a software training and will be headed to Foxwoods on Thursday July 22nd. Coventry said he'd probably make it and now Moki seems like he's interested.

Anybody else in the area interested?
 
I apologize for placing this in the wrong forum. I think I was looking at something in this forum when I created a new topic. Please move to appropriate forum.
 
Oh man. I would totally be there, except I have plans to be in AC that weekend. :)

I might be going to Foxwoods tomorrow though.
 
WOW, I dunno, it's an awfully long drive from my house to Foxwoods.

I mean we're talking 25 minutes here :D

And if we get bored, we can take a ten minute drive to the Mohegan Sun which I actually prefer over Foxwoods anyway.

yep, odds are very good that I'm going to make the drive with my girlfriend and her sister... just gotta run it by 'em.
 
My friend is on his way to pick me up.. Should be @ Foxwoods by 9.

Bill - I PM'd my cell #, call if you want to meet up and smoke a cigar.
 
Thursday? Meet some BOTLs on the first night of my vacation? This may be do able...Camping at Lake George NY starting Saturday 4 nights. What's the smoking policy Bill?

Iwould like to see it now that the area is all developed. Next time I'm in CT it would be cool to meet up with some CPers. Maybe in the spring. :thumbs:

Is this still happening? Are you only going to be there tomorrow?

I'm debating possibly heading up again this weekend. I left some money there and I need to go retrieve it. :lookup:

Darn darn double darn. YHave kid sitting duty. Perhaps I should make like some parents and bring the kiddies and abandon them.. :( sad but true.
I'll have a 1990 Vintage Patel in the hammock under the crescent moon thinking about you guys

Oh Bill, you would NEVER recognize it now!! It's grown about ten fold since 1992 :0 :0 and is either the largest or the second largest casino in the world ;)
 
If I end up going it wouldn't be until friday night. If you guys are just there tomorrow I can't make it.

Ricardo and I, along with Javier another teacher from Ric's school, had a great time at Foxwoods AND Mohegan Sun this afternoon. Due to Connecticut's new state-wide smoking ban, pretty much the only place where you can smoke cigars and have a coktail or a glass of port is at the two casinos here. I'm lucky in the respect that I only live about 25 minutes away :thumbs:

Ric and I played a little craps at both casinos and he was the star shooter at the table at the Sun :D making FIVE passes during his roll which no one had done all day at either place ;)

I think I actually left both places with a small profit which for me is a huge victory ;)

We had some time to take in a few cigars at the "Wombi Rock" cocktail lounge at the Sun and trade some cigars and the parking garage before heading out.

It was great to meet another CPer in person and all in all it was a fun day. :thumbs:
 
Ditto what coventry said. Great to get a chance to meet Bill. I am always amazed how when meeting a fellow CPer that it seems like you're visiting an old friend. Loved the Port and Cigar at the Mohegan. What a great bar!
