Freshroast SR-300

Anyone have or used one of these. I have some beans I have to roast and I'm torn between this or using the old pop corn popper. Thanks in advance.

I have a friend who had an early model 300. He recently gave it to his dad and bought new. He went with the 500 and said it was well worth the extra $50.00 for the added features of convection temp controls, variable fan speed, etc.

This is next on my want list, but may have to wait until Father's Day after spending a good bit of money to go to the next level on HomeBrew supplies for Christmas.

Anthony - I'm sure you've heard about the web site "Sweet Maria's" for coffee roasting. They have a great comparision chart for different roasters in a wide price range. Might give that a look.....

Thanks Tom that is where I was looking. My only concern was the price since I not roasting that often.
