start the pass beast I'd like to join. that goes for any passes starting out there. :)
 
I'm gonna do it emodx..... I've havent been in one yet but I'm sure you guys will see me along. something basic maybe 10 people only, need a topic
 
You know, no topic is really necessary - but there are people here that will join just about ANYTHING you can come up with.

Just a small suggestion... if you're creating your very first pass, and have never been in one yourself, you may want to think about keeping it small (5-7 people) so it gets back to you quickly, and you can start another more organized pass (you'll learn from your mistakes, trust me) soon after it gets back. Or start with 10 - remember, it's YOUR pass, you get to decide how to run it!

is starting moderate ok with most people, ie nothing too fancy like isoms, just real good puros? would I get some interest in a pass like this the " great dominican pass" :D
 
Welcome to CP Jason.

You can start any type of pass you want. I'm sure you'll get participants. Like Dave said, if it's your first pass, you'll probably want to keep it small -- 5 or so people. It will be easier to control and track. Then do another one with 10 or so people. And then you can do something like Jeff, with 500 or so people. :love:

Welcome Jason! All of what you have heard is great advice! I just did my first pass and I definately made mistakes....like forgetting to put my return addy on the sheet so it would come back home!!! LOL

You can start any kind of pass, I'll definately play! You may also want to participate in a few first! That's what I did to learn the do's and don'ts!

Whatever you do, don't hesitate to ask someone if you have questions! This is the BEST board around and a great bunch frequent this one!

ok getting started 5-7 person pass. whats the normal # of cigars to start out with? all different usually or 2 or 3 of the same kind? I know its my pass but give me some advice on how its been done.
 
Don't want to tell you how to do your pass, but, my suggestion would be to look in the completed pass threads or some that are going now and get an idea of what happens. After that, use your imagination! A variety is always good as most of us are looking for something we've never tried when in a pass!

That's my .02

If you start one, count me in! I'd be happy to play in your first pass!

Dave is right. This isn't the thread for a pass... and since i'm the DA that started the darn thing...I'll ask Rod now to move it to CD or something if that's possible. Should have never posted it here anyway...what's a newbie to know ???
