Earlier this year we visited the in-laws and I got a chance to visit a (cigar) tobacco farm in the winter. The farm is located in Enfield, CT. They were in the process of moving the farm (from up the road). We have just confirmed our plans to go back in August and I get to see the farm in full swing!

We are flying Thursday August 9, I think Friday the 10th is "farm tour day" and then a few days with the in-laws, returning home on Monday the 13th. We'll be staying at a B&B in Suffield, CT (where we stayed before).
Hopefully, I'll get to see a bit of everything. By August, they have harvested some of the initial trimmings, so they have leaves sewn and racked, plus plants still in the ground and the farm is pretty much in full production mode. It should be pretty cool and I'm looking forward to it. I'll be sure and take lots of pictures.
Now I have to go shopping for my white suite and hat, so I can get a picture just like this:
