Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on since 0410 as always and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the Bull Pen blew it for the Yankees last night in the 8th inning giving up 4 runs and loosing 6 to 5. Lets turn it around tonight fellas and put up a "W". Chapman could not find the plate last night. As of late, he has been terrible. If he don’t straighten out, it could be a lot of long 9th innings for the Yanks.

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday after a fun weekend with friends. Saturday, a number of us went to the Palaia Winery and saw a really good 60s - 70s easy listening band, Hurley Mountain Highway. We sang, danced and enjoy a great day in the sun and got a little rain which was actually comforting. Sports wise, the Yankees got swept by the Red Sox in Boston. Lets go fellas and turn things around now. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys........ :)

Tough loss last night for the Yankees as they gave up 7 runs in the 9th inning to the Angels with a final score of 11 - 8. Chapman had no control on his fast ball and gave up the grand slam which started the devastating loss. These two teams will play again this afternoon starting at 1305 (1:05 pm) and hopefully with better results for the Yankees. Enjoy all and we hope to see a few of the local S/BOTL tonight....... 👍
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! As a result of the inclement weather in the Northeast, the Yankees / Angels game yesterday got rescheduled to a later date in August. This weekend, we'll have a subway series with the Mets which is always a good one. Last night was a good time at Aroma as the regular crowd was out enjoying top shelf cigars and all. The NASCAR drivers will be racing this weekend for the first time at Road America up in Wisconsin:

We had a great 4th of July weekend overall, the Yankees can't really say that as they only won one game out of the three from the Mets. Beth and I went to the first game on Sunday and had a good time in the Bronx. Congrats to Chase Elliott for taking the checkered flag in Sunday's race, always nice to see a road race now and then. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We had a good time at Aroma last night, unfortunately the Yankees can't say that as they got beat 4 - 0 by the Mariners. They take on the Astros this weekend before the All-Star break, hopefully it's a good weekend for them. The NASCAR racers are in two locations this weekend with the truck racers tonight in Knoxville, KY; and then tomorrow and Sunday, the Xfinity and Cup Series racers will be in Atlanta, GA. I hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys....... 🍻

Good morning everyone, the coffee on and once again, it's back to work Monday. We had a great weekend over all: Friday, Beth and I relaxed at home enjoying a nice dinner and a few cold ones; Saturday, we did a mini winery tour (3 wineries and a cidery) with a couple of friends in the Hudson Valley. Yesterday, I did some yard work in the morning and then sat back for the rest of day with a nice cigar and a few cold ones and barbecued some wings. The Yankees could have swept this weekend, they blew a 7 - 2 lead going into the 9th yesterday ending up loosing 8 - 7. Congrats to Kurt Busch for taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race, always nice to see an older racer win one now and then. Anyway, enjoy your week all and remember to be safe out there...... :)

Congrats to Pete Alonso from the Mets for defending his crown winning the Home Run Derby last night. This evening starting at 1930 (7:30 pm) will be the MLB All-Star game live on FOX which is always great to watch. Have a great day everyone and enjoy...... ⚾
