Good Morning S / BOTL - 2013

Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday here at West Point. We had a great time this past weekend in Philly, congrats to the Army team winning in overtime 20 - 17. Spent the entire weekend with dear friends that I've known for years and love them all. Got home yesterday to watch the Eagles win and giving them a 12 - 1 season record. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys....... 🍻

Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Thursday. Not sure we're going to make it to the Aroma Cigar Room this evening as the weather guessers are calling for a rain / snow mix starting late this afternoon into tomorrow. Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's Friday! I didn't go to Aroma last night as the sleet and freezing rain was a big part in my decision to stay home. This afternoon, my office is having our annual holiday party at Gasho Steak House. Always a fun time for sure:
Tomorrow, Post 1796 American Legion in New Windsor, NY is having a Christmas Market and Fair that will host over 20 vendors along with Santa and Mrs. Claus available for pictures. They'll be plenty of cheer and good tidings for all to enjoy. We'll be there around 0700 (7 AM) to set up and the event goes from 1100-1700 (11 AM - 5 PM). Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy...... 🎅

We had a good weekend overall: the office party was well attended and all had a good time; the American Legion Christmas Market was a huge success, over 500 people made their way through the fair and all the vendors were very happy; congrats to the Eagles on another win, I hope your team won as well. Tonight, the Aroma Cigar Room is hosting their annual Christmas Party which starts at 1830 (6:30 PM) with RoMa Craft Tobac in the house. Always a great time had by all and we all bring gifts to share with each other. I hope you all enjoy the day and we hope to see all the local S/BOTL this evening....... 🎅 🎄🧑‍🎄

Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0410 as always and it's Friday! I took the day off yesterday as we had some final holiday prep to get done as well as a use-or-lose vacation day. The Christmas party the other night at Aroma was great, the place was packed and the RoMa Craft Tobac cigars were spot on. Beth and I spent time with a number of family members and got plenty of rest at home as well. This will be an easy week at West Point as the Cadets are still off and half the Cadre are home as well. I'm taking off of work tomorrow as I have one more day of use-or-lose vacation time. Being that tomorrow looks the best weather day of the week, I'll take the outside Christmas lights down and store them away for next year. We normally wait until after the new years but we have a Key West trip coming up next week. Enjoy everyone........ 🍻
 
Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's the last Friday of the year. As planned, we got all the holiday stuff down and stored to include the Christmas tree and all. After relaxing a bit in the afternoon, we tapped a new keg in the kegerator: Newburgh Brewing Amaizing Lager https://untappd.com/b/newburgh-brewing-co-amaizing-lager/2874435
For dinner, we went with a couple of Angus steaks on the grill along with baked potatoes and grilled brussel sprouts which all came out great. Afterwards, I went over to the Aroma Cigar Room and smoke a couple of primo stogies and spent time with the fellas. This weekend will be a relaxing one as Beth and I are saving up our energy for our week in Key West which is always a great time. Enjoy all and stay safe out there..... :)
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Tuesday after another relaxing holiday weekend. For the majority of it, Beth and I stayed home and watched a lot of college and pro football, fired up the BBQ and all. We are getting ready to head down to Key West early Thursday morning as a car service is picking us up at 0545 (5:45 AM). We should be in Key West by 1130 (11:30 AM) and in shorts and flip flops there after. Enjoy your week everyone....... 🍻

Good morning all, the espresso coffee is on and we are officially on vacation. The car service should be here in roughly an hour and we're packed and ready to go. I ended up packing another 5 pack of top end cigars for those special nights walking down Duval after a great dinner and enjoying the warm night breeze. Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it’s looking like we’re going to have a beautiful day here sunny Key West. Beth and I had a great first day on vacation seeing some old friend, stopping in at a few of favorite watering holes and mostly relaxing with our nephew Gary. Gary is bartending today (during the day) at Fogarty’s so Beth and I will get in some sight seeing, possibly go on a boat ride and will definitely smoke a few primo cigars. Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it’s going to be another nice day down here in Key West. Beth and I went to one of our favorite brunch spots yesterday: Rams Head https://ramsheadsouthernmost.com/. Afterwards, we headed over the Green Parrot and listened to some ole’ time jazz, smoking cigars and drinking a few cold beers. Congrats to the Eagles on their win and now the NFC East Champions. Our nephew Gary has today and tomorrow off, so we’ll be out and about with him. I see cigars, good food and cold drinks in the near future. Enjoy your week….. 👍
