Got an email this morning from a local shop that Litto would be stopping by their store to talk about the new Museo. I got to talk to him for a little while. Great guy. We talked about the Museo, which he said is using the same wrapper as the Salomons, and more than half the tobacco in the filler is at least 8 years old. He said it's like the Salomon, but richer, more flavorful. We also talked about the husband and wide he did the artwork for the band. He said the gentleman was never into cigars, but they went with Litto to the DR for a couple days and toured the factory for their inspiration. Unfortunately, the shop didn't get their delivery in time for his appearance.

I also got to talk to him a little about the Culebra Lanceros he made for Al's shop, and he was nice enough to sign my Culebra box for me.

The only thing missing was his signature hat. He said he was late leaving his house for the airport this morning, got about halfway, and realized he left it at home.

I met him as well some time back around 02-03 when I lived in Texas. He was a cool guy. LFD is a solid brand in my eyes.

Sounds like a nice experience. This new cigar is something I want to try. 8 year old tobacco is intrigueing.

I remember reading an interview with Litto, and I believe he mentioned something to the effect that he was working towards having 10 year
old tobacco to work with. Sounds like he's getting there.

NICE! That museo sounds really interesting.....but for the money? It ain't cheap...

You're right... but, I sucked it up and bought a Padron 80th because I love the line and wanted to try one. I'm sure I'll do the same if I can find a single of these, because I love all his offerings as well.

John - it was at Matador, up in Roslyn Heights.

Sounds like a pretty cool experience. I really enjoyed the LFD's I have smoked.

That is a great shop, he really has a great selection and a very comfortable lounge area. Glad you had such a enjoyable day Tom.

Nice to see that somebody else carries an assortment of cigars in a travel humi... :whistling:

Great post Tom, I completely agree with you.

Sounds like you had fun bud, thanks for sharing.

Litto is one of my favorites, both his cigars and the man himself. Very personable and friendly. Glad you got a chance to talk to him Tom.

Did he mention the price? I'm sure it'll be pricey but any idea?
