It is with much regret and a heavy heart that, I will give notice today. I've given myself three weeks to allow it to sink in. My biggest regret is, that I never was allowed to finish what I started. :(

I'd blame it on drinking too much but your package didn't get there yet.

Good luck on your new endevors.

Bruce,

I'm a production manager of sorts. A trouble shooter, house cleaner, cost cutter. I took a company from six days a week to five with zero OT, cut waste, Lost time accidents and increased capacity. Mind you I know that it takes a team to accomplish all of this but, the leader deserves better. At the end you're supposed to reap the rewards. My rewards weren't forth coming and I could no longer trust my employer to look out for my interests in the same manner that I did theirs. Don't get me wrong, I was compensated. But, just when you expect the compensation and family life to increase. They got ugly. Oh well, their loss. On to the next challenge. Does that explain it better. Without arrogance, I'm the best. Learning from the floor up with over 16yrs of experience. It sucks to have to start over but, a fresh start is what the doctor ordered.

AVB,

I don't drink. I bought that for the likes of you!!!!!! :whistling:

Notice to what?
Which part of "handing in my notice" did you not understand Bruce? ???

Brian

Well I would assume that he meant his job. But, what did he not get to finish? Not all of us know all the details. ???

Either way good luck with your new start.

You are right. I guess if you are going to post your personal life in an open forum and mention something not finished, curiosity will
beckon.

Good luck to you, regardless.

Brian

That about nailed it, Brian. The original post was dripping with disappointment.

I vacation near York PA a bit. Love the HD factory tour. See you next time, I'm there.

Good Luck Dickson!

Good experience and great results will not go unnoticed by a new prospective employer!

Bruce,

Without arrogance, I'm the best. Learning from the floor up with over 16yrs of experience.

With 16 years of experience if you cared remotely about it you would be damn good at it. It sounds to me like you do care about your job, hopefully a new employer will snatch you up in no time

I love my job!!!!!

Thanks for the support guys. Rob have I got something for you!!!!!! :sign:

Wow, that sucks Dickson. :(

Sounds like their loss more than yours. ;)

Best wishes to you, I'm sure you'll get another opportunity to work your magic somewhere else!

Does this mean you'll be home during the day in Bristol? If so, sometime when I'm traveling though town (which I do more often than you'd think on my way out to western CT) maybe I'll catch ya at home. :D

I've found that during early rush hour that route 72 is much quicker than route 4.

The fact that you regret leaving says a lot about you. The fact that they paid you but didn't see you says a lot about them.

I also work as a trouble shooter, hit man, clean up man, cost cutter, production improvement specialist, etc. but in the technology arena. My projects are usually 6 to 24 months and I always leave when my job is done. Maybe you have a future in consulting/contract work. It was hard for me to pull the trigger to go out on my own but it was a similar situation that pushed me to do it.

Any way you look at it, I'll bet you'll do okay.

I think the same.
I think that the company was sure, that you'll never leave, but now when You do, they will lose more than thay think and soon they will know it.
But who knows, maybe when You'll put a notice on your bosses desk he'll try to keep You there some way

You'll be fine Dickson
