As a side note, I was also a NAS guy, but I did my time from 76' to 80' at NAS South Weymouth. Then I learned my lesson and transferred to the Army and went overseas for 14 years.

Wow, no disrespect Stogieman, but in my neck of the woods, jumping from Navy to Army is rare at best! :0

None taken but I had a great tour doing it. 3 years in Germany on the French border, 2 years on Hawaii (Oahu), 9 years straight in Germany (Frankfurt area) and then I did my last two years at the Military Academy at West Point. I could not complain...... :thumbs:
