Living life on the heavies.
Yea i was looking at omnimount.... but I will check out Cheif
Depending on what kind of bracket you need/want, have you looked at any of the cantilever brackets? There are options for you which can extend the flat panel outward, tilt and move left and right. Omnimount makes a nice bracket and you may want to do a search on a company called Cheif mfg, they have some cool recessed brackets which give you a flush mount look.Well now I am trying to find a wall mount unit... any suggestions..

Well, my HDTV story is a little strange and a little long, but I will try not to digress. So I bought a Mitsubishi first gen 70" HDTV awhile ago, this is the TV with the 5 BNC outs. Well for the longest time I just used the S-Video connection, but then about a year ago I decided I deserve HDTV, I mean I have this monster of a TV with no HD. So I did some research, there really is no reciever that accepts a straight through connection of the 5 BNC connectors, so I had to rig it. After reading various forums the best solution lied within a VGA to component transcoder, which happened to cost 300 bucks small price to pay you saySo I bought a 5 BNC cable to VGA and the transcoder which happened to come with component cable. So after many weeks of research / trial and error (I bought a 5 BNC to DVI connector that didn't work) I have HDTV. A couple of pet peeves I have are, since HDTV is 16:9 and my tv is 4:3 I have black strips on the top and bottoms, second, CBS NFL football doesn't come in HDTV, which I guess means I have a problem with CBS and not really HDTV.
All in all it was a long road, but the 1 Gen HDTV is rocking.
The wife did say she would like a flat screen... but I told her until they make 80" flats, we aren't changing![]()
The HD discovery channel might just become my favorite...
ditto that.
Since some of you guys are hooking up you new equipment, and I'm reconnecting some of mine, check out RAM Electronics for some good deals and exlanations of connections. I picked up a new DVI-HDMI cable for my HTPC connection to my HDTV.
