I met Dan (Hector TMC) at a herf in DC recently. A herf that was predominantly composed of CP members. All quality BOTLS I might add. I was one of two BOTLs from the CWBB.
Dan is a 1st Class Newbie. He is a sponge for cigar knowledge. And I enjoy discussing cigars with anyone, ESPECIALLY when I can help out a Newbie. We talked for several hours at the herf and I gave him my email as I had mentioned that I would send him a package of well aged smokes from my stash. In return he mentioned that he would send me a few Cuban Crafters because I have not tried them before.
So I sent him a package a few weeks ago. Today, I received his return volley.
HOLY CRAP!!! What a nice assortment of 10 cigars. He says in the accompanying note, "... I hope that you enjoy them and also hope that you haven't tried all of them. ..." The one (of 10) cigars that Dan sent that I have previously smoked is the Cuban Parejo. Everything else will be new to me. I look forward to trying them all.
Thank you for the bomb. Even though I knew it was coming, you certainly took me by surprise with the variety of smokes. Just whom is teaching whom?
