Hello from a newbie, who I am, & how I got here...

welcome from someone a little further North than you!

By all means, get in on the Newbie Sampler Trade - it will be well worth it, trust us!

Next thing you'll know, you too will be building a 'coolidor'! I'm starting to wish I had made mine with the 153qt cooler...!

Just checking to make sure the newbie sampler trade thread was recommended.

also, good intro.

It would seem the Newbie Sampler is a success, Lum! The Newb's are raving about it before you even get here!!! ;)

Scott,

Welcome to CP cigar smoking is trial and error, there are so many good smokes out there that you can enjoy and it won't break your bankroll. Have fun experimenting. Now you don't know me from Adam but if I could give anyone in college some good advice I would say slow down enjoy the experience! Even take an extra year to complete your degree. Your never going to be as free as you are now! Once they close those "Golden Gates" on you it's damn hard to go back, because that's when life really starts getting in the way. After you graduate take a year off and travel see the world jobs will always be there for you....... trust me. Just my .02 for what it's worth.

CP is s great place to learn with plenty of great people willing to help you out.
Looking forward to having you around.

BenjieV :D

Welcome from another newb. There is an abundance of information, or at least opinions here. It seems everybody reccomends the newbie sampler trade. This is high on my list of things to do.

I have been purchasing 5-packs and samplers from Caution addicting website ahead!!!to try to get a feel for what I like best. Not all are winners, but there are some great cigars that won't break the bank.

Welcome again and enjoy your stay:)

Shhhhh - Ree.... You'll let the "cat" out of the bag if you point that out.... :0

Welcome fellow Canuck, EH!! That newbie sampler they suggested might be a great idea, giving you a variety to try , to see what you like. Then you can ask around, and find a place to order from.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. In the process with Vewyphishy for the newbie cigar trade...cant wait! Now I guess I should get all the stuff so that these fine stogies do not dry out and become uninviting. Off to the net for some more research.

As for the grammatical errors, meh, not too worried about it. I’m an accounting major guys…who needs them pesky commas and periods anyways :D
