Ok, it is very easy to see from the date I joined the family and my post count that I am a post whore. I admit it and, I can live with it. Now, the only reason I bring this up is because I am going to have to quit posting cold turkey any time between now and the 28th of Oct.
on the 28th of OCT I have to move out of the bombed out palace annex building I have called home for over a year and move into the transit tents so that the unit replacing me has a place to call home. To the best of my knowledge, the tents do not have Wi-Fi, so you can see where this is going. I will be in the tents until the 20th of November when I start the long trek back home.
So that is plan A.
Plan B
I leave as soon as my wife calls me!
Just found out that my mom might be having by-pass surgery done. Do not know any more than that right now. If it happens I will start back home under emergency conditions. All I know so far is that she has either lost 35% of her hearts capacity, or she is using 35% of her hearts capacity. The damn phones went out while I was getting this critical bit of intel. A few days ago, while her, my dad, and my youngest sister were at their vacation house, my mom woke up in the middle of the night having difficulty breathing, so dad took her into the ER. Turns out that her thyroid and kidneys had stopped working because her Blood pressure had gone through the roof, and they were not getting enough blood to function and this caused a back-up of fluids into her lungs. They moved her to a bigger hospital in San Antonio and now they have her thyroid under control. They can not seem to get her kidneys to work right, or figure out what is causing the high blood pressure. So we wait.....
Anyway, thanks for letting get that off my chest, I need to tell someone, and the funny thing is you guys are the first. I need to go tell my Chain of Command.
I will be on as much as I can until I punch out, and if things settle down with my mom, I have an idea for a "Tim is going home" contest.
