The first box of cigars I bought was a well thought out purchase of Hemingway Classics. I got the best price you could get, got em locally, and I really love those cigars.

This morning the doorbell rang and it seems USPS was delivering packages....tis the season I guess....first mail delivery I've had on a sunday.

Among the little treasures inside was a Hemingway Classic maduro...ohhhh, ohh my

I waited until all of 4pm to light that baby up, over at a local shop.....

Most impressive, as I've really noticed with the high end Fuente's, is the pre-light draw. The flavors and essence of the cured tobacco is incredible. I swear I tasted bananas in this one.

Now once I lit it, it tasted like maduro cigar. It was a great smoke. Started off medium smooth and complex and got more so.....it turned into a very big, bold smoke. Smoked it down to an inch, which was about 3/4 inch too much.

Lit up an Ashton Heritage later, and that brought out how strong that Hemi was....( and also reminded my why I love those as wel  l).

We just got the Classic maddies in at my shop. I've got two in the humidor at the house, but I haven't got to smoke one yet. Guess I'll have to do that soon.
