Here comes the light bulb police!

this bill makes no sense CFL's dont work in lamps with 3 way switches nor do they work with already exsisting dimmer switches (special dimmer switches are required).
I use CFL's wherever I can in my appartment and in the building Where I work, But for some applacations They just dont work.

I have three way CFLs.
What I love about CFLs is that they are cool, and they last a long time.
That is especially nice with light fixtures that require you to get a ladder to change the bulbs.

I use 'em because they save me money. What could be more Republican than that?

Doc.

So are there different 3 way cfls? Because the ones I have never work in my reading lamp on my night stand, well they work but they make this buzzing sound. Same as when I put them on dimmer switches Ill have to reserch them more to find out.

X2 same goes for the owner of the building

So, after 2014, will we be buying incandescent bulbs over the Internet from Hong Kong, Switzerland, France, and Mexico with the promise of intact, unmarked delivery?

Man that sounds familiar......:whistling:

We use the CFLs were we can, but they really are bad in the winter for our outdoor floodlights. We use these when we let the dogs out and by the time they warm up enough to give off any light the dogs are ready to come in.

I assume the technology will catch up to make these things great by 2014, but they need to get the mercury out of them if they're going to push them as a "friendlier" light bulb.
