How old is he, like 67? It won't be long and he'll look like Mr. Burns trying to throw a ball!

Good to see the old man giving it one last shot. It will be sad if they come out and go 6-10 his final season.

Not sure how tongue n' cheek that was Jonas, but the one thing that does disappoint me is that I was at the last game at Lambeau this year when we beat the Vikings, it would've been cool to say I was at Brett's last home game, and that was it.

Oh well, I'll just have to go to the 07 home closer too!

A great player deserves to go out well. I too hope he didn't push it one year too many.

I'm no Packers fan, but I respect the things he's done for them over the years.
Hope it wasn't a mistake to come back for one more go.
A lot of people feel the same way about the first point you made. You may not be a Packers fan or even a Brett fan, but there's just no way you can't give him credit for the things he's done, (insert interception jokes here) he has been one hell of a player.

Point two, me too! ;)

Best of luck to Brett, he'll need it for next season. I respect the man and what he's done, but you have know when to fold'em.

Since when is 37 old? LOL.
I was being a little sarcastic. Seriously though with the average retirement age being 30, NFL years are like dog years except its a 2/1 ratio. The iron man is pushing 74!

It is time for the Pack to turn the page - When is your number # 1 draft pick qb going to get a chance to play - when he is 30?

Being from Minnesota I am hardly a Packers fan. However, i have always liked Favre. I'm glad to see him back for one more year. I'm hoping he can end his career with much better season than this past one.

Nooooo he did great things in the past but that doesn’t mean he can do great things anymore… its time for him to hang it up especially since we’ve been having “team building years” but what team can you build with a quarter back that’s gonna retire soon? Sorry I just think he isn’t what he used to be.

Typical selfish act by a me-first athlete. Sorry Pack-lovers, but this guy WAS a great quarterback if interceptions didn't bother you. Now he's a shell. Favre has once again held the organization hostage. Someone in that office KNOWS it'stime to move on but they don't dare go public and tell the truth. Who cares about his career stats when your team wins 6 games.

For the Packers to return to contention, they need a new QB. Don't kill the messenger, I'm only speaking the truth.

Condolences on another "fair to middlin" season.
