Just a quick question, then I'll go back to reading the older messages...
Can anyone suggest a good online cigar store(s) that accepts PayPal?
I'm batting .000 so far in my search. Thanks for your time!

Cuban or N/C???

So far I haven't had any good luck finding any shop that takes Paypal in America. ;)

I'm fine with domestic. Not too much luck either. It's just a pain transfering funds from PayPal to my bank. Always takes 3 or 4 days.

Good luck with your quest but in the mean time go to the Lobby and introduce yourself and fill out your profile a bit more. Welcome to CP!

Why would you need to transfer funds from paypal to your bank account in order to purchase cigars online?

Welcome to CP!

I was gonna ask the same question Craig, got me wondering myself. By the way, howdy TS and welcome to CP from Sunny Central Florida..... :)

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. What I mean is, I'm starting to be a semi-regular seller on Ebay. I take payments via PayPal. If I want to purchase cigars (or anything else for that matter) online, I usually have to transfer funds from PayPal to my bank account, then pay whoever via my debit card/checking account. I'd rather just pay via PayPal and be done with it.

I know that bargainhumidors.com takes PayPal? But do they sell cigars that aren't overpriced? ???

Tony, do a search when at the Shops portion of the paypal website. Cigars got quite a few hits.
Never even thought of that! See? I'm glad I came here already!

To prevent the wife seeing something like "Cigar International $325.00" on the credit card statement.

I am getting ready to sell a lot of computer parts on eBay myself. Let us know what you find out -- hopefully I will have enough PayPal funds to buy a few boxes next month.

Let me see what I can come up with. I asked this same question on CW. Now to find the thread

Welcome TS.
I use paypal as well for all of my ebay buying and selling. (gpswarehouse).

I have had a Paypal Debit MasterCard for quite some time now, and it works nicely. Its just like a bank debit card, you can use it anywhere, it takes the funds directly from your paypal account, no transferring required.

Good luck, John V.
Ps, where abouts in Detroit are you, Im in Roseville.

"To prevent the wife from seeing charges on the bank statement!" That's a classic! I guess that's reason #1A!!!

I knew I would get quick answers on this site, and I was right. Good ideas, all around. Thank you!

John V, I'm in the New Baltimore area. We're neighbors. I lived in Roseville for a year around 1991. Thanks for the info!
