Holiday Office Parties.....

We've having ours at our new office... break it in right. Open bar with a server from a local vintner (be serving some good beers too), catered food, etc. Should be fun!

This past week we had our company holiday party at the Renaissance Hotel in Plantation Florida for employees and significant others. Started with a bar and 1 drink per person on my tab, beyond that cash bar. Appetizers passed around for 1 hour. Then a dinner of either a steak or red snapper. Followed up with coffee & desert. There are 5 people that enjoy cigars and I gave each a 6 pack assortment of cigars tailored to the tastes of each person. Can't smoke indoors so we adjourned to the patio out side the dining area. Previously I gave each employee a cash bonus, varying amounts based on their contribution to the overall company effort.

By the way I don't have an employee turnover problem.

Then it's on to The Sheraton Towers Sports Bar for smokes !!
One of the last places in NYC that your still aloud to smoke in.

Well, both of my crappy college jobs [both a pizza places] will not be doing anything,
but on the plus side I know my rommates and I will be having one w/ much booze and a few cigars [now if only in were not in neg. outside]

Is it just the company's I've worked at or is it more prevelent (cc, correct my sp), but they never let you bring a guest (spouse, bf/gf). Such cheapness!

I think it is more and more companies each year :angry2:
