How Bad Are these Fakes

The other day at the firehouse one of the guys lights of a cigar me being curios walk over to see what he's smoking. I noticed it was a monte 2 and asked him where he got it from, he said from a store in mexico and that he got a good deal a box of cohiba's and a box of montes 2 for 300. I figured they were fake from the price, he asked me if i wanted two and I said sure. I have never seen a real or fake cuban before this. I couldn't believe how bad they looked and how people could actually buy these things. It kinda sucks because I was really looking forward to smoking my first cuban(oh well). I don't think I am going to tell him because he has two boxes of these things, ill just let him smoke them and be happy.

They are pretty bad. From the color and non centered logo on the Monte band to the lettering being off on the Cohiba band. The cigars don't have three caps. Not to mention the general quality of the wrapper. I could go on, but you get the message. They were selling better quality in the DR for $20 a box.

These are easy to spot, they might as well have a third band around them with FAKE!!!! written on it

I accidentally picked up a fake Monte in Puerto Vallarta, (due to lack of being able to see straight) I walked towards LCDH and lit it up, right away I knew it was wrong. Gerry Cohen walks in and right away asked me where I bought it. It was then and there I got a nice education and he was a really nice guy, we talked for about 45 minutes.
