How do YOU value aged/rare cigars?

Do you think he remembers?
Probably not. I only remember because it was one of the first magnanimous gestures that absolutely blew my mind. If memory serves I posted my love for VSG and Brandon bombed the bejesus out of me with OR Rounds that I didn’t even know existed. As you can imagine we became fast friends!

He's good for doing things like that! 😁

I don’t sell cigars generally but imo if it’s aged trash the price should reflect trash. If it’s aged unobtanium then everyone treat it that way an expect to pay for the privilege of something they couldn’t otherwise get. In both situations the market sets the price and inflation should be considered.

The other alternative is don’t sell aged cigars on CP. We can say all day long CP has always been against profit, but nobody was telling people to sell Cuban Davidoffs for what the paid back in the 80s (because that’s stupid). Conversely my 2006 perdomos don’t warrant the same age or rarity consideration as my 2006 boli gold medals regardless of what either cost me, so the idea of a standard formula doesn’t work. It all comes back to a question of quality, fairness and subjective judgement on a case by case basis.

Sell your Cigars for whatever you want- if the market buys them then you price them to a buyer- if no one buys them then the market said you priced them wrong.

I don’t sell cigars. I smoke them. I agree with cohibasurf- this forum is more for sharing and not profiting.
