First things first

Thank you, you have no idea what the support means to me...

Wife is on her way, dropped her off at the Airport at 10am local time.
10 hours in the air, and she should be back in the states.

Looks like the Army is going to step up and cover most of the cost of our tickets.
I should fly out Monday around the same time...

can anyone say cigar time?

Now, I am just sit here and worry until I know that SWMBO has landed at Dulles.

Wife and daughter made it to VA.

So tonight I will get some sleep.

Well it has been a long 2 weeks indeed.
Father in law passed on Monday the 23rd about 2 hours after I made it to his house to see him.
Wife and Mother in law seem to think that he was waiting on me to get there, because he knew I would be able to take care of things.
Wife is doing as well as can be, and should be home tomorrow, I flew back on Sunday.

20 years active Army
20 years Augusta Co. Sheriffs
5 years Federal Marshal

And in all that time he never thought to tell his wife about any of the insurance policies that he had, or retirements for that matter.
Took the better part of the week to get that all figured out, and to find out that he was eligible for Service Connected disability.


His service was moving, full honors.....
