Has anyone here ever use one of these to help with the upkeep of the humidor. Any input would help Thanks.

This is the Cigar Oasis XL

Yup, have both the Cigar Oasis XL and the Cigar Oasis XL Plus in my Connoisseur cabinet humidor. Work great.

What exactly do you need to know about it?

Thanks for the help, I have a humidor holds 200 cigars (don't have anything near that have about 60 or so as of now. I am just curious if it is worth the $100 and since I have a smaller unit if those jars I have scene would be a better choice. I plan to eventually have some good quality cigars and I want to baby them. So in short I was just asking around to see if people seemed to like it.

I actually took the resevoir tank for my Oasis, cut it open, took out the foam and replaced it with the beads... glued it back together and it seems to work much better now!

I've got 2 of the earlier versions of the Cigar Oasis and they work fine. You'll need to refill them about every 3-4 months with distilled water tho. Plus it's a good idea to keep a small amount of Viper Beads or a Creedo in your humi along with it. That'll keep the Oasis from working too hard and constantly having that circulating fan run.

My neighbor bought the BIG Mojo size Cigar Oasis for his 3000ct cabinet humi and loves it!

Now there is an idea worth considering!

I have not been extremely impressed with the Cigar Oasis I have (not the XL plus version). I switched out to beads long ago. BUT, beads in an Oasis, might just work!

works well for me... easy to fill, circulation fan that is not all 100% of th etime, compact- all good things.

Have an Oasis XL which I got for "free" with the purchase of some high end smokes at JR. Works great; RH stays rock solid at 65%. They sell refill cartridges for these, but when you notice the RH drop, just refill the cartridge you have with distilled water. I have to do this maybe every three months or so, and it goes right back to a rock solid 65%.

I've actually been using two of the smaller versions of the cigar oasis for the last three years. They are great at regulating humidity. The only problem I've had is it seems one of them has burned out and left an odor in my humidor. Instead of plunking down another $100 for a new one I'm going to try some clima beads or gel.
