I finally did it!

I finally did it. I accomplished one of those milestones in a man's life that he will never forget. The first was when I lost my virginity. The second was when I bought my house. Now, at the dawning of a new age, I am proud to say that I accomplished another milestone. Oh yes, that's right. I bought my first cooler!

Since all I have to my name is a 50 count desktop humidor that is packed, I am running into the dilemma of not being able to purchase any cigars because I have nowhere to put them. You can see my current storage situation right here:

So I just came back from Walmart where I purchased a pretty nice looking 70 Quart cooler:

And this is where you come in: boxes. I have no cigar boxes at all, and therefore, nothing to help buff the humidity for my sticks that I'll need to transfer. I have a local B&M that I went to in my town, but he had no extra cigar boxes available, even though I was willing to pay for them.

So if any of you fine BOTL's or SOTL's have any extra boxes that you could send me, I would be forever grateful to you. I have no problems paying you for it or cover any postage costs if need be. If any of you could help a brother out, send me a PM.

Thanks in advance......I can't wait till I get this thing up and running, so to speak.

I knew that was coming. It was actually one of the largest (and affordable) that Walmart had. I wanted to get it in person instead of ordering one online, and it was only like $37.00 for 70 quarts.

Believe me, going to a cooler of that size from my 50 count humidor is like moving from Compton to Beverly Hills!

I was lucky mine is 110 quarts and I think I got it for $45 on sale. It's great.

As long as you arrange your sticks carefully it should last you awhile. There was a point when I thought I was going to have to get another, I rearranged my cigars and I discovered I had tons of room left to fill :thumbs:

I went through almost the same exact progression myself. I started with a 50 count humi that was doing just fine for a while until it got demolished with one set of precisely aimed bombs from a few brothers (thanks again jonesy and mysterea). Now I have a 50qt. cooler that has plenty of room as long as I keep things organized...

To top it off, hidden inside the bottom box was a note saying, "You didn't really think I'd send you empty cigar boxes did you?" Lo and behold, he included a PREMIUM fiver in there for me. I'm still trying to recover.

John, there is a special place in heaven reserved for people like you. Thank you for coming through in a big way on this one. I won't forget it.
