I finally took the plunge (Update 5 July)

I recently had the idea of converting an old refrigerator into a coolidor but when placing my electronic sensor, the humidity read around 30%. Do wine coolers work differently than refrigerators when it comes to humidity? I have realized that refrigerators have drip pans but I didn't know if this had to do with condensation or not.
