I got the job!

My time here at CP has gone down quite a bit over the past year as my (temporary) job has been very taxing, along with my personal life having some significant changes.

I had to skip the Padron event as well, to my dismay, due to a chance to showcase my "skillz" if you will, to some higher ups that made a position selection today.

Today I got the best news I've heard in a long time. I was selected to be the next Battalion OIC for a unit near Rockford, IL.

This puts me back on Active Duty, but for the Illinois Army National Guard, AGR position. This is a very big deal and the only position like it that was open in the State of Illinois. In addition, it was opened to all O4's (Majors) in the country.

I'm on cloud nine today brothers....I'm still quite busy, and will be for a few more months until I start that job, being that our troops just returned home, but I look forward to starting the new job and getting back on CP more frequently.
