I Passed Fakes

I recently lost a bet with Breedy, Putz Mulligan, Depasta and Cigarstone.

One of the sticks I sent as payment was Monte Cristo Churchill in a tube.

Turns out they are fakes.

Thank you to Grateful1 and Tone-NY helped in identifying it as such, your time and opinions are appreciated.

I did not think about their authenticity when I sent them.

Had I done even a little homework I think I would have discovered that they were fake myself.

All involved have been contaced.

Replacements will be sent.

Regardless of my intent, I should have been more careful about this transaction.

Our rule here has always been to not send fakes and if you are not sure, get sure.

I apologize to my CP bretheren/sisterhood for allowing this to happen.

These things happen, while it may be unpleasant they do occur.

Geoff is a stand up guy and just wanted to give out some very nice cigars to the people he had a bet with. It just is an example of learn what cigars should look like and if in doubt ask.
